I was particularly interested to read how these women deal with freedom of thought. This, in a male dominated area, is a necessity. Jameela, like too many women in other parts of the world, has found a way to vocalize her thoughts within a shared group of women. This urge to share ideas, free of persecution, is fundamental to true freedom and sanity. Loneliness is avoided when one can share ideas.

It is a point of power she was drawn to express. It is a point of power that is shared within her group ( and, an example of power/strength to her children).
