I was particularly interested to read how these women deal with freedom of thought. This, in a male dominated area, is a necessity. Jameela, like too many women in other parts of the world, has found a way to vocalize her thoughts within a shared group of women. This urge to share ideas, free of persecution, is fundamental to true freedom and sanity. Loneliness is avoided when one can share ideas.

For much of human history, belonging to a tight knit social group was essential for survival. Jameela’s Baithak, started in 2016, is an example of survival. It is a point of power she was drawn to express. It is a point of power that is shared within her group ( and, an example of power/strength to her children).
